NYC09Since retiring from the Morning Shows she hosted in Los Angeles, Nashville and Tupelo, Lauren has been speaking coast to coast and spending endearing time with her Dad, family, friends and 11pups between them. She is currently residing in Tupelo and getting prepared for her baby girl arriving from Nepal soon!

Lauren feels these days have been tremendous ones of growth, healing and deepening in the Lord. Learning the joys of enduring in HIS suffering and allowing HIM to do what needs to be done in our character is her motto as of late. She has a passion to help people grasp their value and worth in Christ so they can accomplish their life calling on this earth with joy, humility, victory and a lot of laughter.

Lauren received undergraduate degrees in Music and Communications from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK and her Master’s Degree in Communications from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. Currently she is contemplating completing her PHD.

Her 20 year background in Media includes hosting a Morning Show on the Family Channel, TV News Reporting and On-Air Radio shows for Salem Radio Network, Clear Channel Communications, Sony Worldwide and American Family Radio.

Lauren cherishes her role as college professor. She taught in the School Of Communication Studies at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville,TN  and at Azusa Pacific University in Los Angeles, California.

Lauren was runner-up to Miss Mississippi America and Miss Mississippi USA back in the dark ages and before so many wrinkles (hehe). During her college years Lauren was Homecoming Queen, Dean's List, toured for 2 summers on missions trips and led the school chapels at ORU. Her first two years in college at Ole Miss Lauren was runner up to Miss University her freshmen and sophomore years, was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority, Concert Choir and the select show group, The Connection. She was also in the Top 25 best dressed on campus.

Lauren began her life in the same town as Elvis, Tupelo Honey and the best catfish this side of the Chattahoochee.  She said her first word at 6 months of age (honest engine)...and hasn't stopped since, says her Dad.

Lauren is a miracle baby and only child who loves to laugh hard, eat sweets, make funny noises & gestures and give big bear hugs. She adores her friends as the siblings she begged for and never had and thanks the good Lord for her 30 first cousins. Her inner circle and balcony family are beautiful gifts from God into her life as well.

Lauren does not believe in acquaintances and strives to get to the core of every soul she meets. One of her goals in life is to let folks know just how special they are no matter what their shoe-size, pocketbook size or size of their britches. She has 10 pups along with her dear ole Dad and would have more if there were room in the inn.

Lauren appeared as a repeated guest on Politically Incorrect, received The Arvella Schuller Award from the Crystal Cathedral and hosted TBN with John Tesh. She is also on the Advisory Board for the Westside Pregnancy Center in Santa Monica, CA and dreams of adopting many children in her lifetime.

Lauren is thankful for peace that passes all understanding, hope and excitement in all the good Lord is planning and joy immeasurable, not based on circumstances. She cherishes growing older with the Lord & acquiring greater character through the intense growth times of life. Lauren is thankful for a new day everyday and is living for eternity as never before.
